An intimate destination wedding in Portonovo

What if a couple from Perth fall in love with a small town of Conero Riviera? Well, they spend beautiful days enjoying the local cuisine and the crystal-clear water of Sirolo and they decide to come back the following year to tie the knot with parents and best friends.
That’s what happened to Emma and Brendan 2 years ago… A few months later they contacted me to plan their intimate destination wedding.

From the first Skype call with Emma I understood how they were dreaming their wedding day: a charming intimate venue with sea view, natural floral arrangements, excellent food and quality wine of course.
I immediately spotted the place to make their dream come true. There’s a unique, exquisite small tower in Portonovo bay which couldn’t be more perfect for their special day.

La Torre stands over the rocks; the warm summer breeze and the extraordinary live performance by Tobi Music were the sweetest company for their romantic ceremony.

While Emma & Brendan were exchanging their vows, the caterer started preparing bite-size fry food to grab together with a glass of Prosecco for the toast.

The uber talented photographer Katie Grant couldn’t miss the golden hour and the mystic sunset of the bay.

While guests relaxed and had fun, my staff and I added the last touches to the dinner table.

A breathtaking view, lovely food, nice music… What more do you need? Oh, a dance floor please!

Time flew over touching speeches, laughs and toasts as the sunlight made way to the candlelights.
A pure wedding cake was the natural conclusion of a refined dinner menu and sparklers added that extra touch of magic.

What’s an Italian intimate destination wedding without homemade ice-cream? Guests kindly approach the gelato cart!

Emma and Brendan celebrated their first anniversary last July. As I close my eyes I can feel their happiness, guests emotions and that familiar atmosphere which anyone could breathe that day.
I am so thankful for being part in one of the most important days in these two l0vely human beings lives.
I feel so lucky and proud for doing a job which gives me the opportunity of sharing the beauties of my region with people from the other side of the world.
