For all those people who miss sun and beach, here below a fresh post about a summer wedding by the sea.

Marco e Eleonora are a “sparkling” couple: last year they eloped to America and they said “I do” in the city of blinding lights… They came back with a glittering wedding gown and a few months ago they celebrated their love with their families and friends in a beautiful setting: Portonovo.

We created a sophisticated ivory-gold-blue palette which was just perfect both for the romantic Catholic ceremony in Loreto and the elegant wedding banquet at Fortino Napoleonico.

The wedding stationary, as well as the decorations and the accessories (handmade book ring box, fabric bouquet and boutonniere) have been designed matching the palette colors, using recycled materials where possible.

Eleonora and Marco love literature, especially romantic novels. To meet their tastes and wishes, I wandered antiques shops and vintage markets looking for ancient books and a old typewriter: Gatsby and Daisy, Romeo and Juliet, Catherine and Heatcliff and many other famous lovers came out from the typewriter and named the guests’ tables.

Great Gatsby allure inspired me also for the photobooth, set with sparkling decorations, pearl necklaces, colored feathers and golden frames.

The guests were invited to sign and leave their wishes on a starry sky canvas, as a precious souvenir for the newlywed.

Marco and Eleonora cared about indulging their guests: a sumptous dessert buffet, a lovely ice-cream cart, customized M&M’s and lots of sugared almonds in nice blue and gold boxes.

Karaoke and crazy dances entertained the guests until sunset.
High heels and elegant shoes were put aside to wear comfortable flip flops.

No one couldn’t keep the bride and grom away from the sea!
